The main objective of the Media Office is to maintain and build a positive perception of the Diocese using the media and other publicity avenues. |

Operations of the Media Office:The Media Office produces the Diocesan Magazine Horizons, which is published quarterly and available for free in parishes. You can also view Horizons here. The Media Committee supports Sr Eileen in her editorial duties. Horizons aims to strengthen everyone's sense of belonging to the diocesan family and to be an instrument for faith education. Contributions are sought from everyone across the diocese - please see the latest edition for information on submissions. The Media Office also maintains contact with local media outlets, like APN Newspapers which produce local newspapers like The Chronicle in Toowoomba. Contact is also maintained with The Catholic Leader which features the Toowoomba Diocese in it's "Regional Focus" column. |
