Dear Internet User, Welcome to the Diocese of Toowoomba's official home page on the World Wide Web! Our Diocese covers more than 490,000 square kilometers spanning from below the Great Dividing Range in the east, south to the New South Wales Border, west as far as the Northern Territory and South Australian borders and north taking in the areas of Taroom and Cracow.  Within that territory we have 35 Catholic parishes who serve our people through schools, churches, Catholic Charities, ecumenical works and many other Catholic agencies and institutions. This web site concentrates on the most important institution in the church - the local.  It is to our local church that people come in order to celebrate Eucharist, support one another, be educated, socialize, be Church.  Hopefully this home page will assist you in finding the centres and services that may assist you and help you feel a part of our Diocese - especially for those who are isolated by distance or Infirmity.
